Civil society and development workers, technologists, and entrepreneurs!
Do you drive your friends and coworkers crazy with all your wacky ideas for saving the world?
Well, now’s the time to prove that your rants are more than just a lot of hot air.
Enter the IdeaSpace Challenge.
Conceived by The RootSpace the Lebanon host of Global Entrepreneurship Week (Nov 17-23), the IdeaSpace Challenge seeks to foster collaboration and entrepreneurship around sustainable and market-based solutions for addressing development needs in broad fields of inquiry.
This year’s fields are mobile technology and sustainable energy.
To enter the challenge, you just need to fill out a simple form and answer a few questions about your idea. Or you can submit your idea in person on Saturday, 1-2:30pm, MENA ICT Conference Hall at Termium Tech Expo, BIEL.
You’ll not only be taking steps toward putting your idea in motion, but you’ll also be eligible to win valuable prizes!
The awards will be given at the GEW-Lebanon closing ceremony on Sunday, Nov 23, at 7:30pm also at the MENA ICT Conference Hall at Termium Tech Expo in BIEL.
Please forward the invite to anyone who might be interested! Or, on second thought, don’t. Better to keep the prize all to yourself. Once you quit your job to start realizing your plan, you’re going to need it.
