Bread&Net 2022 is returning this November as a regional, hybrid festival in Beirut. Your participation in Bread&Net over the past four years has helped shape the event into what it has become today: a network of passionate advocates for digital rights and freedoms across communities in the Arabic-speaking countries.
We value your contribution, and we would love to see you again this year. We are excited to embark on this journey together once more, especially with Bread&Net’s expanded format in 2022. In addition to the live-streamed sessions, speakers and attendees will partake in physical events happening across Beirut. We hope that our convening in person would revive and strengthen the community-based spirit of the unconference.
This year, we’re expanding the scope of topics covered to include nineteen different tracks—each aiming to represent and support our vision of a more inclusive, engaging, and open Bread&Net. We’ve also added an Open Space track for speakers to organize activities or promote their work on digital rights and Bread&Net values.
We look forward to receiving your proposals for Bread&Net 2022. Our team is ready to help in organizing the sessions or discussing ideas to be submitted.
Join the conversation by taking part in Bread&Net as a speaker or a session organizer. Submit your session proposal before May 30, 2022. Additional details will be coming soon!
