This year marks the fourth installment of ArabNet, the region’s meeting point for digital creatives. More than 80 speakers and 600 attendees will explore online entertainment, food and beverage, and social impact and citizenship. This year, SMEX is proud to be a supporting partner.
Young creatives and entrepreneurs can benefit from numerous opportunities for funding, mentorship, and exposure for digital initiatives.
- Entrepreneurs can apply to pitch at ArabNet’s signature Startup Demo and Ideathon competitions by February 26.
- Talented communications teams under 30 can compete in Creative Combat, a contest to come up with an innovative digital marketing campaign that responds to a specific brief and earn a $5,000 award. The deadline for applications is February 28.
- Social media mavens can apply to become official bloggers and attend the conference for free.
The three-day event will kick off with a Design + Code day with lots of workshops for developers, designers, and entrepreneurs. As at past events, a community day will engage civil society, students, and other groups from around the country and the region. More details will be announced soon.
