Lebanon’s SMART Center is recruiting young journalists for a program to help women win more seats in parliament. According to the workshop announcement, the program objectives are “raising awareness on the potential of women to become prominent actors and key figures in the Lebanese public and private sector” and to empower Lebanese media professionals to be advocates of women leaders.
They’re looking for journalists with at least 2 years’ relevant experience or fresh graduates or even undergraduates from Lebanese media schools. To learn more, visit the SMART Center website. Interested applicants should an email explaining their interest and demonstrating their support of women leaders through recent, relevant work to leaders [at] smartcenter [dot] me.
