Here’s what’s on deck:
Kiva.org, the online microfinance organization whose goal is to reduce global poverty through person-to-person lending, is looking for a full-time project development specialist for the MENA region. The location is flexible. Kiva’s partners in Lebanon include Al Majmoua and Ameen (pilot partner).
An Online Creativity Workshop, focusing on writing, producing, and distributing audiovisuals for online media, will be held in Amman, Jordan, from May 18-22. Joi Ito, the CEO of Creative Commons will give the workshop, hosted by the Royal Film Commission of Jordan and the well-equipped SAE Institute.
