Are you the next lead for the soon-to-launch UNICEF Innovation lab in Beirut? You’ll need excellent problem-solving and partnership skills, as well as a good dose of software development knowhow. These guys are looking for the whole package:
Degree in a relevant field or discipline such as computer sciences, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineeringor statistics although experience can replace qualifications- Excellent understanding of software development, and familiarity with Python, Django, Github etc
- Innovative uses of technology for development, particularly in the areas of data, mobiles, open source and health.
- Needs identification, and measuring improvements in project coverage and uptake, geographic expansion, etc.
- Training experience
- Background experience with the UN is desirable
- Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
