Announcement of TEDxBeirutSalon in Tripoli
TEDxBeirut is expanding beyond its name to spread inspiration all over Lebanon, starting with Tripoli and Hala Fadel (@halafrangie), as guest speaker, whose talk at last year’s TEDxBeirut about starting the MIT Enterprise Forum was one of the day’s most inspiring.
TEDxBeirut salons aspire to bring together the local TED community together in a lead up to the main TEDxBeirut event, scheduled for November of this year.
The salon will consist of a screening of two to three TEDtalks followed by a community discussion about the themes and ideas presented in the talks.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 28, at 3 p.m., at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli (Bechara El Khoury Street, facing KFC/Hardees, in the underground auditorium.
Seating is limited to 120, so register as soon as possible to participate! And, don’t tell anyone, but if you can’t make it, you can still watch Ms. Fadel’s talk, “God is an entrepreneur,” here:
