SMEX Seeks Creative, Skilled Web Developer

SMEX is hiring a consultant to support the development of our new website. We are looking for someone who can help us overhaul the site. We expect that this overhaul will require updating the front and back-end infrastructure, incorporating SMEX branding into a new skin, implementing new interactive features, and creating a synchronized back-end database for English and Arabic.

Interning with SMEX

Social Media Exchange (SMEX) is looking for an enthusiastic intern, who believes in change in Lebanon, and who’s interested to work on digital rights and online advocacy campaigns. You will work closely with the SMEX team and partners on existing research projects related to digital rights in Lebanon and Arabic-speaking countries, create content for our website, and our newsletter. We also encourage our interns to come up with ideas for their own projects.

All positions are open until filled; only complete applications will be reviewed.

If none of these openings suits your qualifications, please note that SMEX frequently works with freelancers and consultants. If you would like to be considered for future assignments, please send an email with a brief note and your CV or resume to jobs@smex.org with “CONSULTANT” in the subject line. We regret that we cannot reply to all submissions, but we will keep your information on file and review it as opportunities arise.
